 Champlain Collage

Champlain College was founded in 1878 as the Burlington Collegiate Institute. Champlain is located in downtown Burlington, Vermont, in what is known as the "Hill Section". The Hill Section is a beautiful, historic part of Burlington not far from Lake Champlain. Champlain is also close to many Vermont ski resorts. Champlain is a school of over 1,500 full-time students that offers 29 undergraduate degree programs and two master's degree programs, including a Master's of Science in Managing Innovation and Information Technology and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA).

Champlain College celebrates the Vermont ideal of practical, independent thinking by teaching students the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in a variety of professional careers. Champlain prides itself on: nurturing students in an academic environment that is responsive to the changing needs of the workplace, offering strong career planning support, and providing a small, closely-knit campus within the vibrant, active city of Burlington.

Champlain College ranked 18th on the U.S. News and World Reports list of "Best Comprehensive Colleges in the North" in their "America's Best Colleges 2006" rankings.

Champlain College's Center for Online and Continuing Education offers online courses, certificate programs, accelerated programs, and associate and bachelor degree programs. Champlain offers the following six online associate, and eight online bachelor degree programs:
